we'll see who's laughing when i see you in hell

starting this game on 5/5/25. i'm very excited already because i loved life is strange. i generally like a lot of don't nod's games and these kinds of choice based narrative games.

this game is a really cute so far!!! i feel like i'm too fixated on filming everything which i think is a really cool device to show how swann like. is. also autistic swann real??????? i'm hoping to see it's a cute little gay narrative but i also of course am deeply interested in the story. both can be true!!! i love the collectible film parts so far i'm gonna defo actually use collectible mode.

i am slowly encroaching upon the strange horrors and i am loving it and also extremely anxious! i really enjoy how the collectible films create an immersive experience for the player. you play as swann the whole time and i think you lean into that with the collectible films mechanic. the player ends up being swann by being behind the camera all the time. it's really fun hunting for different memoir topics. i get really into the editing or refilming or totally replacing different parts of the memoirs entirely.

i'm romancing autumn and i was really surprised with how unpopular of a choice she was? tbh it's a little bit about racism, i think. i love nora and kat too!! but i think it's probably because autumn is black combined with the fact that she's not a strong personality like the other two.

i finished tape one and i genuinely thought the Hole was the thing that was making kat sick so i had made literally 0 connection to her actually being ill oops. be back with more thoughts after tape two probably!!!
